Eagle: Do seven requirements including the two starred *
Owls: Do nine requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Research the history of Care Bears. Make a timeline with at least 10 items (Penguins & Otters include 5 items). Who created them? When did the TV show first air? How have the characters changed since they were first released?
_____2.* Discuss the main Care Bearís names. Know their tummy badges with the correct color and picture. What character trait does each represent? Who are the evil bears? What can you learn from both the good and bad bears.
_____3. Watch a Care Bears movie (Eagles & Owls watch two movies). Discuss it with an adult. What lessons did you learn? Talk about three important things you learned.
_____4. Watch at least three episodes of the original Care Bear series (Eagles and Owls watch at least ten). Discuss it with an adult. What lessons did you learn? Compare the old TV series to the new one. How are they different? How are they the similar?
_____5. Read 2 Care Bears books. (Penguin - Dolphin only)
_____6. Make a Care Bear scrapbook. Include at least four pages with either drawings, pictures from the show, magazine cut-outs, character designs, etc.
_____7. Design your own tummy badge. Draw a picture of it and and explain why you designed it the way you did and what it means.
_____8. Who are your three favorite Care Bears and why? How can you use what they teach in your own life?
_____9. Donate a Care Bear toy to charity.
_____10. Make and play your own Care Bears themed game. Teach it to your troop or family.
_____11. Throw a Care Bears party. Watch a Care Bears movie, make Care Bear themed snacks, or go on a Care Bears themed scavenger hunt!
_____12. Go online and explore the Care Bears website with permission from your parents.
