Meet the Staff at Headquarters!
Frontier Girls is a very much a grassroots community with all members across the country sharing ideas and supporting one another. At the heart of our small business is a small group of family and friends and of course, Frontier Girls! Meet the staff that keeps everything running.
Founder/CEO – Kerry Cordy
In 2007 Kerry combined her passion for scouting with her passion for homeschooling to create the Frontier Girls program. She believed that anything and everything could be fun and educational and set out to create a fun and flexible program that would encourage girls to revel in the world around them and soak up as many experiences as possible. Loud and exuberant, her boundless energy keeps everyone motivated.
Membership Coordinator/Bookkeeper – Lisa Peasha
One of Kerry’s oldest and dearest friends, Lisa was one of the founding parents of the very first Frontier Girls troop and helped launch the Frontier Girls program. She returned in 2019 to take on the much needed role of Membership Coordinator. Immensely organized with a keen eye for details she has also taken over the bookkeeping responsibilities and she keeps Kerry in line to ensure nothing falls between the cracks.
Shipping and Receiving Manager – Christina Helmbold
Christina has been a Frontier Girl since she was 5 years old and knows the program inside and out. She is responsible for assembling all the badges and making sure all product orders are filled quickly and accurately. (If there is ever an error, it is usually because she was gone and Kerry filled the order…) Quiet and easy going, Christina takes on any challenge we throw at her.
Curriculum Consultant – Katie Cordy
Katie, Kerry’s oldest daughter and an elementary school teacher, is our consultant for new curriculum. She is currently helping to develop a new classroom curriculum for our Quest Clubs program and in her spare time, adds some flair to our social media. An avid artist and illustrator she also continues to add to our growing clipart files. Katie’s love of children and creative imagination adds purpose and spark to our programs.
Creative Consultant – Kristine Cordy
An animation and visual effects student at L.A. Film School, Kristine, Kerry’s youngest daughter, consults on most creative projects. Designer of our new Quest logo and the brain child behind our new Curiosity Untamed website, Kris bubbles over with ideas for new videos, clipart, photography, and more to help Frontier Girls learn and explore. The wild child of the team, Kristine brings chaos and excitement to our days.
