_____ 11. If you plan to visit your monument, locate your travel destination on a map. How far is it from your home? How will you travel there? How long will it take? Make a plan for keeping yourself busy during travel so that you do not get bored. (Butterflies and Eagles, know the costs involved in traveling to this destination.)
_____ 12. Learn about a legend or myth in regards to your National Monument.
_____ 13. Learn an interesting fact (or more) about your National Monument. For example, the Lincoln Monument was designed by a deaf man, Lincoln's hands rest in the position of the American Sign Language alphabet letters of A and L.

_____ 15. Make a craft of your monument.
_____ 16. Watch a documentary or read a book about your monument.
